The majority of the homes in our beautiful community belong to The Homeowners Association, and are inhabited by upstanding citizens. All homes must have white to beige siding, natural colored doors, and a fence surrounding the yard. Grass must be no more than 2 inches tall. Shrubbery is kept to a minimum. All homes are historic, and none should be demolished. No more than 5 are permitted in each residence.

We welcome you to attend any of our churches. Services are on Sunday and Thursday. If a citizen needs assistance with any matter, please, come to the town hall. We want everyone in town to be healthy and happy.

Hal's Lane was created twenty years ago, when the Town decided to attract new citizens. Elementary schools and a few public building were renamed, and The Homeowners Association lifted all restrictions for the residences on Hal's lane.

The town has a population on 1664, and the Mayor is currently Karl Krause.

• No memory of anything unusual

1. Only Play Your Character! (also known as 'no god-modding')

2. No meta-gaming! (Just because you know that Eva is trying to blow up the diner, doesn't mean that your character knows!)

3. Be excellent to each other. (I play for fun. I'm modding this game for fun. Please don't take that away from me.)

4. Don't forget about us, please (Post at least once every week or two. I don't want to delete you, and I don't want to have to explain to the characters why Judy isn't around anymore)

5. Know your limits. (If you can only play one character, don't make twenty clones of her and then say you are overwhelmed. It's okay to play one character, and if you can handle 5 or 50, go for it. The rules still apply, however.)

6. English please. (I'm lazy, and I suck at reading web speak. Make sure spelling and grammar are passable, translate foreign words for me, and try to keep netspeak to a minimum.

7.Third person posts in the community please. (action posts. It makes things easier, I swear)

8. Journal entries are character blogs. If you want to block it from someone, just say so.

9. Use posting headers, please. (Something like the example below)

Who: Characters in the post and OPEN (only if the post is open to any characters)
When: List the date and the time of day.
Where: Where it takes place.
Rating: Just let us know what we're in for.

10. 18 or over please. (I can't control other players. If they play something inappropriate with with you, and you are underage, I could get in trouble)

11. No Villains. (Sorry, only mods can play villains)

12. All plots must be approved. (If it's something minor, like dating or shacking up with each other, that's fine. Run marriages and pregnancies by me first, anything else you have to make sure that I'm okay with it. This game world is a little... strange. You'd be surprised at what is important in game)
